Bloggin...

Busy week...

Well on Tuesday I went to Las Vegas just for the day, I just think that is so bizarre to fly down in the morning and right back at night. Its so strange to not have luggage. Anyway, went down for a quick "Business Trip" the owner of the salon Megan and I went. Megan considers me the manager of the salon, were pretty good friends. It was Fashion Week in Vegas, all the retails go and buy all the product for there stores. They have clothes and tons of accessories! You have to have a retailers licence and own a business to attend. They have tons of conventions going on all over the strip. We only went to the Venetian Hotel where they had The Accessory Show and The Off-price show... We found a ton of new purses and accessories to sell at the salon.

Megan and I

It was very fun and a very successful day

While we were there in Vegas I was told by some random lady that I once again look like America Ferrera.. this wasn't the first time I get this more often than you think.

Lets compare shall we..

What do you guys think?? I mean she said I should be signing autographs! I think it's funny.. But I sure do wish I was a celebrity!

Anyway...

It was a very busy week at the salon, I have been there for 10 months now and never thought I would be doing as good as I am! I have many returning clients and tons of referrals.. you should see how many reviews I have on CitySearch.com (keyword:Moore Hair Design) a bunch just for me! I love working in a salon! between Friday and Saturday alone I made over $600 dollars! It can only get better from here!

Robby has been very busy with work and school! Takes a lot out of you to do both full time! Luckily hes very smart so I don't have to help him or I guess attempt to help him. But in a couple years he will finally get to enjoy his job as I do.

It was a very good week!

Goodbye PONYTAIL!!

Good News! Ann flew to Salt Lake to have me do her hair... Color and Cut! Keep in mind, Ann's hair has only known a ponytail!! Hasn't ever really met a flat iron, round brush, or professional color in a LONG time! So let me do a run through on her hair... Let me start by showing you her BEFORE picture!

Sorry I just used my phone to take these pictures so sorry about the lighting

This is her sad face... "Please Help!"

Ann was looking for something drastic! Her hair was a little damaged and broken off due to the excessive ponytails and tight hairbands! It's amazing what a simple hairdo can do to your hair after many years.

COLOR

So we decided to take her hair down a few shades. I used a warmer tone which fits best with her skin. Darker hair gives the illusion of shinny healthy hair, to brittle, damaged hair- just a little hair tip and also added some highlights, which helps blend when her regrowth comes in and is just nice to have some dimension. We didn't want to do anything stripey or thick... just really blended highlights!

CUT
Ann is trying to keep the length.. however 2 inches off the base were really needed. I also added some layers.. nothing too short just so she had some movement and body to her hair. Plus depending on your face shape (in this case Ann has a round face) adding layers breaks up any edges or adds edges and texture to any face shape. I also found that she had accidental bangs due to breakage... so we blended those in and gave them a trim.

So Here we are!So much Happier! Shes glowing!

Having bangs was a little new to Ann, but I showed her there are so many techniques and tricks out there to enjoy your hair without damaging it
This is a good one showing her layers and highlights... and her sexy face!

The best part of the day... getting rid of the pain and heartache this beautiful head of hair had to go through with this hairband!

So what have we all learned??

#1 Do not wear your hair in a ponytail for 20 years

#2 Do not color your own hair! You have NO idea what your putting on it

And #3 Just come to me and let me make you more stunning then you already are!

It worked for Ann!

Call me!

Valentines Day!

This year we had to celebrate Valentines day on Friday the 13Th. Since Christmas Robby got switched to nights at his job. Which has really sucked for me. Hes going to school full time and working full time so I rarely see him. He had to take a day off work so we could go out.

I made reservations 2 weeks prior to Carvers... best steak ever! and pretty fancy might I add. Its funny because we don't go to many expensive fancy restaurants. Robby ordered ribs which are very messy, but in this case it was best to use a fork and knife to peel off the meat. If we were anywhere else he would have picked it up and made a huge mess all over the place. It was DELICIOUS!

Robby of course bought me flowers and a card.. Its a MUST for Valentines Day and Anniversary! I bought him a card as well and few small things.

Were going to California next month and on the way back were staying in Vegas for 2 nights... so that's mostly our gift to each other.

and look how cute this brownie is.. sorry I forgot to take the picture before he ate a few bites.
Turned out to be another great Valentines day!

Our blog is born!

After reading every one's blogs and checking them all daily... We thought "Gees we sure are selfish" reading every one's blogs and keeping our amazing, fabulous life all to our selves. So without further adu.... Here it is!
Let me first start by giving a little background on the two of us and how we became The Bailey's! (well I guess Robby was born a Bailey, so just me)

This picture was taken Christmas 2003.

We met when I was 15 and Robby was 16.

We became "OFFICIAL" Dec. 13th 2003.

I still think it should be celebrating as an anniversary... Robby thinks different.

I would say we have both definitely improved since then. Good times for sure.. unfortunately Robby still wears that D.A.R.E shirt!

One of our many DANCES! I wanted to go to every dance every year of Highschool. It's my favorite picture!

I went to almost all with Robby.

We are really cute.. I have a million pictures of just the two of us.
On December 2nd 2006. (The day I graduated Hair School)

WE WERE ENGAGED!

ROBBY WAS SO NERVOUS!

Just 3 of the million Engagements and Bridals.

And finally, on July 21st 2007 we were married

and thats how I became a BAILEY!
